Men’s Residential Treatment
Our Men’s Residential treatment program is a highly structured program designed to assist individuals in making the necessary changes to begin a chemical-free lifestyle and develop support systems to maintain recovery from substance abuse.
A screening is conducted to determine an individual’s eligibility for the men’s residential program. Once eligibility is determined, an admission is scheduled and the individual is oriented to the program services.
An individual assessment and treatment plan is developed to address substance abuse issues and other concerns identified on the assessment.
The program services consist of individual and group counseling, group sessions specific to men’s issues, educational groups, case management services to address other identified needs, family groups, support groups and recreational activities.
Individuals reside at the facility during the residential program and are provided three nutritious meals and snacks daily. Weekend passes are arranged for individuals when the passes can be scheduled and coordinated with family members and/or significant others.
Services are provided by licensed chemical dependency counselors, licensed professional counselors and counselor interns. Weekly staffings are conducted to monitor each individual’s progress in treatment. Treatment plan reviews are conducted to identify other issues that need to be addressed during the treatment stay. The counselor and client work together to ensure each individual has the tools necessary to successfully complete the program and maintain recovery following discharge.
Available family members are encouraged to participate in the treatment process by attending family groups and weekly visitation.
